My dog has skin bumps after grooming. Is it an allergic reaction?

Hello, I have a chihuahua mix dog 6 years old, 13 Linda. She suddenly developed this raised surface bumps on her skin. She is acting normal and eating and drinking. What should I do? Should I give her Zyrtec? The only thing I can think of is she had a spa treatment a week ago at a new place. Other than that nothing unusual happened. Thanks, Mandy.

Hello. It looks like Bella is having an allergic reaction to something, possibly the shampoo that with used during her last treatment. You can try giving her 10 mg of Benadryl to ease the reaction, and I would bathe her in oatmeal shampoo to calm her skin. If this does not solve the problem, have your vet check her because she may need stronger medications to help her feel better.
