My new guinea pig has a bald, peeling spot on her leg. What to do?

I have recently got a new guinea pig. I noticed she had a large bald spot behind her leg. It's peeling a little bit but it's not red or irritated. I just want to know if I should take her to get examined or if it's something that'll go away.

Guinea pigs are really susceptible to ringworm, so I like any spot like that to be looked at. They may recommend a topical anti fungal medication. In the meantime please practice good hygiene after holding her Incase she is contagious. Good luck and I hope it heals soon!
