My puppy has rectal prolapse after dog incident, what should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 3 days old | 15 lbs

My 8 week puppy was sodimized by another dog. It looks like he has anus prolapse. What do I do

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would recommend taking Snoopy to a vet to assess the extent of the injury. It may regress on its own when the swelling goes down or he might need surgery to keep the tissue inside the rectum. He may also need stool softeners to prevent it from worsening.
