My dog at a KIND granola bar that had semi sweet morsels in It about 24hrs ago. He seems fine? Gave him half a can of pumpkin last night and this afternoon. The amount size of chocolate was less than a Tablespoon, and my dog is about 50lbs. I would have seen signs of the poisoning, if ot was a lot, by now? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 years and 4 months old | 50 lbs

Chocolate toxicity shows up within a few hours of ingestion, so you are out of the woods as far as cardiac and seizure problems. However, you may notice some loose stools associated with the dietary indiscretion. So glad he didn’t get sick! In the future post the question with the amount as soon as it happens or call your local emergency clinic and they can calculate if it is a toxic dose or not. Thanks for using Pet Coach.
