Why is my cat's ear oozing from a hole and making her aggressive?

My cat has some sort of infection or inflamation in her ear . Its not in the ear canal it it close to it .. from the inside i see brownish yellowish thick stuff coming out and on the top of the ear i can see a hole seeping through and it has made her sensitive to touch and shes being almost agressive and murmuring and very irritated . She is confining herself under my bed . Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old
