My 4-month-old bearded dragon isn't eating. Is he sick or shedding?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Hello for the last three days mushu has been eating less and less the first day he only ate 4 crickets the next day 1 and now today he doesn't want to eat his vegetables or crickets. He is only 4 months old so it is worrying me that he is not eating. The basking temp is 107 and the cool side is 85. He is pooping 1-2 times day they are small though from not eating. His skin on his nose is also white we he might be starting shed but he usually eats still when shedding just less. Thanks!

Hi there . If this continues with Mushu then I would recommend that he be seen by a veterinarian. I get concerned about problems like stomatitis (mouth rot), intestinal parasites, or intestinal obstructions. I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
