My rescue dog is underweight. How can I help him gain weight?

I just took in a rescue last week. He's having an issue gaining weight and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to put weight on him? He appears to be a boxer but we were told he was boxer and Pitt bull. Any advice would be awesome. Pet's info: Dog | BullBoxer | Male | unneutered | 50 lbs

The best way is to feed him both high quality wet and dry food, give him small quantities up to 5 times a day in the first few weeks, it will help him gain weight faster. having him neutered will also help with weight gain.
