Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 8 years and 1 month old | 13 lbs
My dog, Morin she's around 8, a Maltese, just passed away yesterday morning, at the moment before she passed away she was not able to move at all, lying powerless, she looked like a lot in pain, her stomach felt hard and she also vomitted yellow substance. A week before that she looked a little less active than usual, she was still able to eat and move around, her feces looked fine, until yesterday morning her condition worsened, I would really like to know what had happened to her, thank you.

So sorry that your dog passed away so suddenly. Without an necropsy, it is impossible to know the cause of death. She may have had an infection (possible uterine infection), endocrine disease (diabetes, Addison's, etc.), heart or lung disease, kidney or liver failure, cancer. You could ask your vet to perform a necropsy in order to know the exact cause of her death. Losing a pet is so hard, especially when it is unexpected.
