Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Mocha! Common causes of diarrhea are: intestinal parasites, ate something outside/human food/a treat that caused stomach upset, viral or bacterial infections, food sensitivity or toxin ingestion. If the diarrhea is bad (accidents in the house, going every few hours) then fast her for 12-24 hours. Do not limit water. Then restart feeding as a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. Feed 1 cup per 20 lbs per day until 2 normal stools. You can also start a probiotic, I like Purina Fortiflora. You can find it online. If the diarrhea doesn't improve by monday she should see the Vet. She may have to be seen sooner if blood shows up in the stool. I hope this helps and I wish Mocha a speedy recovery!
