Why is my kitten lethargic, not eating, and peeing outside litter box?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 27 days old

Hello, my cat seems sick but i'm not sure what sickness it could be. These are all the symptoms: loss of appetite, doesn't drink water that often, doesn't play much, peed once on the floor (Even though she usually goes to the litter box since she knows how to), sleeps more then the rest of the kittens that I have, not as reactive as she used to be. Do you know what could be the sickness she might be having?

These are all non specific symptoms which can have many causes. At her age, she should be examined by your veterinarian. Blood work and a fecal exam after a physical exam may provide a diagnosis. Supportive care (IV or subcutaneous fluids, special diet, etc.) can be administered by your veterinarian if indicated.
