My dog ate cupcake papers and is constipated. Should I see a vet?

My dog ate a couple of cupcake papers on Saturday night. Sunday morning she woke up vomiting but stopped within a few hours. She is eating normally and seems to be acting pretty normally. She won't drink much water unless I mix it with chicken broth and is having trouble pooping. I started giving her pumpkin 24 hours ago and she is pooping a little bit bigger pieces but it's still not normal. Should I give it some more time or go to the vet? can also hear small noises in stomach after eating. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 45 lbs

Hi and thanks for your question this morning! Yes if Aubie is still not her normal self, I would take her into see her veterinarian today. The paper could be causing an obstruction in her intestinal tract causing the vomiting and difficulty with defecation. They will take an x-ray or an ultrasound to determine if the paper from the cupcakes are still in her intestines. I hope this helps and best of luck to you and Aubie!
