What's this red, movable lump on my puppy's leg? Is it a pimple?

Hello I have a 20 week shnauzer yorkie puppy who has developed a red lump on his back leg. Feel almost like a large pimple. It easily can be moved around and he doesn't seem to notice this. Can you advise? I also have photos I can send.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. From the picture you included and knowing that Lincoln is a puppy, my primary suspicion is that this is what is called a histiocytoma. This is a benign skin tumor in young dogs that typically resolves without treatment. If it does not go away or becomes much larger, I would have you vet take a look at it. Sometimes these need to be surgically removed. If you want to be certain about what it may be, I would take him in sooner to have your vet look at it. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I am also available via consultation if needed.
