Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 5 years and 7 months old
My cat's left pupil is sometimes bigger than the right. Other times it is the same size. What's happening?

This is a condition called anisocoria - it can be caused by an injury or a serious infection in the eye, or by a neurologic problem causing a problem with the nerves that control the pupils. This is always a concerning problem, so I would recommend having Emmy examined by a vet as soon as you are able to. He/she can do a complete neurologic exam and also do some eye testing if needed to help determine what is causing the problem and what can be done to treat it.
