My Chihuahua ate a tiny chocolate no-bake cookie. Is she okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 4.5 lbs

I have a 4 lb Chihuahua, she ate less than a teaspoon of a chocolate no bake cookie, will she be ok ?

Even though Cadee is a small dog, the amount of actual cocoa in such a tiny piece of cookie should not be enough to harm her. She may have a bit of an upset stomach if she isn't used to eating "human food" like this, but I would not expect any serious toxicity issues. You can monitor her for the next 12 hours or so to be safe - watch for symptoms like restlessness or hyperactivity, racing heart rate, muscle tremors or seizures. If you see anything concerning, you can take her to an emergency vet for a check-up to be safe.
