I have a four in a half month old lab pup she has all her shots and she started getting sick last night she is still eating drinking water and playing with the kids like a puppy does fed her white rice and hamburger meet this morning she took a nap got up went out and peed and got sick again raised a lot of dogs never had this before usually they dont eat drink or play just wondering whats going on. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | 3 months and 30 days old | 25 lbs

Thank you for letting us know Loretta has all her shot! This vomiting could be caused by a GI illness, eating something rotten, intestinal parasites, or a foreign body. If she isn't up to date on her deworming treatments, you will need to get one from the vet. Given that she is still drinking water and playing, I would try a home remedy first before having to take her into the vet. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
