Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old

My cat who is about 1 year old has given birth to 4 kittens earlier today , all came out looking healthy except the last one which has a noticeable lump on lower stomach , it has a little bit of redness and feels almost bloated , any idea of what this may be?

It's difficult to know what this might be without being able to see or feel the lump but unfortunately it is probably some type of birth defect in such a young kitten. Try to encourage this kitten to nurse and see a veterinarian as soon as you can.
