Why is my new budgie's poop runny and staining his feathers?

I bought an 8wk old budgie 2days ago. It seems he has diarrhea and staining his feather. Ive tried cleaning him (with just water) but wont come off. All he has eaten is quality bird seed and fresh corn on cob.. which he barely touched. Is it the food or just setttling? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 19 days old

It could be the food/new environment or Forest could be affected by a gastrointestinal infection. I would recommend a check up as antibiotics may be needed. I would wait other 48 hours to see if he will get used to the environment and food. If not improving a check up is needed.
