Hi, my golden retriever ate garbage from neighbors and has been vomiting for 7 hours. Nowit is dark brown. What should i do?

Oh your poor pup! Given that the vomit is now dark brown after she has been vomiting for seven hours, I would be very concerned that she is now vomiting blood. Because she has been vomiting for so long, I would expect she would have an empty stomach and her vomit should yellowish due to the presence of bile. Vomiting blood is very serious, and I would take her into an ER vet immediately. She will need a shot to stop the vomiting, IV fluids for hydration, she may need gut protectants if the blood is coming from her stomach lining, and the vet may do x-rays to make sure she doesn't have a foreign body. Please take her into an ER vet now.
