My dog's eye is barely open. Is it cherry eye returning or another issue?

My dog can barely open her eye,She use to have cherry eye. Would it be coming back possibly?

Although it's possible for the surgical site to break down and the gland to re-prolapse, it's not common. I would suspect another problem, such as conjunctivitis (infection of the lining of the eye socket) or something more serious like glaucoma. We typically want to get dogs checked right away when they have eye problems, because they can become very serious very quickly. Take Maggie to see her vet as soon as possible, in order to figure out what's going on, and get the appropriate treatment.
