My pigeon has a swollen eye with white mucus. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | unneutered | 0.4 lbs

There has been a swelling below the left eye. That has covered the entire eye and white mucus could be seen. It might be that the pigeon is having an itching there.

this looks like a severe infection, probably an abscess that has formed under the eye. you will need to take Pairu to the vet ASAP in order to get it treated with antibiotics, the abscess might need to be lanced and drained as well.
