My puppy has pneumonia, coughing more with white foam. Is it working?

Hello, My 8 month old puppy was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was given clavamox and zobuxa. He has been taking both for 3 days. He seems to be coughing way more and each cough comes with a white foam. Is this a good sign or maybe his medication isn't working?

The antibiotics should have worked by now and the coughing should be reduced if they were working. I would take him back to the vet for a recheck. It may be time to get a sample and send it to the lab for analysis. This is more expensive, but will positively identify the cause and identify the necessary treatment. I hope that helps and Riley gets better soon.
