Hi and thank you for posting your question on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The short and sweet answer is NO! Raisins are toxic to dogs. Raisins can cause renal (kidney) failure so it is important to avoid raisins as well as grapes. Other toxins to dogs are garlic, onions, chocolate, macadamia nuts, and xylitol (artificial sweetener found in certain foods like packaged chewing gum). I hope this has helped and best wishes to you and little Prince!

Unfortunately, grapes and raisins are very toxic to dogs and even a small amount ingested can be a toxic dose for a small puppy. Grapes cause kidney damage. Please take Roux to a veterinarian ASAP to have vomiting induced and to discuss treatments for grape ingestion.

No, dogs cannot have grapes at all, nor raisins. Both are toxic to dogs and cause kidney failure, so please do not give these to Bentley. There are many foods that are toxic to dogs, and I will include links below detailing which foods are toxic and which ones are safe: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/people-foods-avoid-feeding-your-pets http://www.akc.org/content/health/articles/fruits-vegetables-dogs-can-and-cant-eat/

Hi there! Good question! No, grapes are not good to give dogs. They can cause severe injury to their kidneys causing kidney failure! Same thing goes for raisins (dried grapes). So, stay away from feeding those! Dr. Amber
