My 9-month-old male cat has dark yellow, bloody urine. Is it serious?

I am sorry to hear that! I would certainly take him into the vet if you are able to- male cats with urinary issues of any kind can be prone to life-threatening blockages. Infections, stones, stress and systemic causes can all cause the symptoms you are seeing. I am not sure which he has but he likely needs further treatment. I would also make sure he is on a good quality wet food, has fresh clean water every day and multiple litterboxes. I hope this helps and he gets better soon!
