My puppy has a hard lump on her face near her jaw. What is it?

Hi a couple of hours ago i noticed my 9month old gsd/husky mix had a golf ball sized, hard lump on the side of her face. Its 2 inches from her mouth, under the ear, lower part of the jaw. Any idea what it could be until I get her to a vet? She is still eating fine and playful but when I added pressure she would move away from me. I have done ice packs, and placed warm towels on it.

It could be either an enlarged lymph node or an abscess. if it is an enlarged lymph node this could be either a condition called lymphoma (cancer) or an infection in that area that is causing the enlarged lymph node. basically all options need to be checked and treated as soon as possible.
