My puppy has a hard lump on her face near her jaw. What is it?

Hi a couple of hours ago i noticed my 9month old gsd/husky mix had a golf ball sized, hard lump on the side of her face. Its 2 inches from her mouth, under the ear, lower part of the jaw. Any idea what it could be until I get her to a vet? She is still eating fine and playful but when I added pressure she would move away from me. I have done ice packs, and placed warm towels on it. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 40 lbs

It could be either an enlarged lymph node or an abscess. if it is an enlarged lymph node this could be either a condition called lymphoma (cancer) or an infection in that area that is causing the enlarged lymph node. basically all options need to be checked and treated as soon as possible.
