My dog swallowed a screw! What should I do? Is an X-ray needed?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 9 months old

What should i do when i get to know in evening that my dog had swallow screw that are used in cupboards? Can it stuck inside his body or intestines? Should i go for an xray or what?

Hello and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, I think you should go to your veterinarian and have Bruno X-rayed as a screw can get caught in the intestines or esophagus and could potential cause a puncture of the GI tract.
