Oh Taka! I would recommend getting Taka on a routine. So at the same time every morning wake up and take Taka to the area you want him to potty. Give a command like "go potty" and while he is on a leash, keep him there for 10-15 mins. If he doesn't go, put him in a crate for 5-10 minutes. Then take him to the potty area again (on a leash). Repeat the command. If he goes potty, wait another 10 minutes to make sure he's finished. Then feed him, wait 15 minutes, and take him to potty again. I would recommend doing this potty routine every 2-3 hours. You need to prevent an accident vs fixing accidents. Take him to potty after hes done eating/drinking, playing, after a nap, and before bed. Give him lots of praise when he goes in the right area. I would keep him on the leash near you at all times until he can be trusted so he can't run away to potty somewhere else. I would happy to talk about this further with a consult if needed. Good luck and kisses to Taka!
