Why does my puppy have a skin lump and losing hair on her back?

My puppy is 5 weeks old and I found a lump under her skin on her back but on top of the skin it looks like she is losing hair or something. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 7 months and 10 days old | 2.6 lbs

Hi there! Thank you so much for providing a picture. I would highly recommend having your regular vet evaluate the area. He/she will likely take a sample of the hair and look at it under a microscope as well as some other tests. They will be looking for dermatological concerns like ringworm, etc. The bump could be related or a separate issue (I.e. Vaccine reaction). Unfortunately, this will likely not be remedied at home and a diagnosis must be made first to ensure the proper treatment is being performed.
