Thor, my 4 month old puppy that I rescued has had all his shots and was told he should be good for a year. But, he still has small white worms in his stool every other morning. Also has been biting and scratching his rear to the point of patches of hair missing. He has had his flea treatment and skin does not look inflamed or irritated. What do i need to have checked to fix these problems?

Yes, definitely have this addressed. He may be up to date on his routine preventative needs (such as vaccines), but if there's a health concern such as parasites, this should definitely be addressed. I recommend bringing in a fresh fecal sample to your vet so they can evaluate which parasites you're seeing and get him started on the appropriate medication. Depending on when he was last examined, they may or may not recommend an exam in addition to checking his fecal sample. Hope this helps!
