My cat has a hard yellow bump on its back with hair loss. What is it?

There is a Small hard bump on my cats back, so hair loss, it's not painful for him, there's no redness at all, he's not itching it and there's no sign of any leakage or pus but it is slightly discolored a yellow. He is an indoor cat. What could it be? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered | 18 lbs

This could just be a little cyst or skin tag and not of any concern, but the only way to know for sure is to have your vet examine it. He/she may want to do a fine needle aspirate/cytology to look at cells under a microscope to give you a proper diagnosis. Hope that helps!
