Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6.71 lbs
My cat could not put his paw onto floor he was not inpain and was eating ok but later in the day he started limping so I took him to vets who examined him but found nothing so she said most likely he has pulled a muscle she checked his temp which was ok but she still gave him a painkiller injection and told me to give 5 units of metacam daily in his food.for aweek and if no better within the week bring him back.for 2 half days he was ok but tonight after he woke up he is limping etc why?

Sometimes they will improve and become more active and reinjure it. It is similar to us if we sprained an ankle and ran on it too soon. Try to keep him strictly confined and do not let him run, jump, or play for 7 days. If he isn't improving or worsens, I would take him back to your vet for a recheck and possible X-rays.
