My dog ate papaya seeds. What symptoms should I watch for, how long?

My dog (70lb golden doodle age 9) ate about a handful of papaya seeds. I'm concerned that she will not be able to digest them, what symptoms should I watch for and for how long? Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Female | spayed | 7 years and 7 months old | 70 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Roxy is a large dog so I think that a handful should be ok. In large amounts they could cause an obstruction. Just watch for vomiting, lethargy and not wanting to eat. If any of those signs occur seek immediate veterinary care. Good luck!
