Beaulah cannot keep any food in and she goes from shivering quite badly to overheating, panting and throwing up. Then it all starts again.

I would recommend removing all food for 24 hours, but try to get Beaulah to drink a small amount of water frequently. You can check a rectal temperature, if it is over 103 the illness could be caused by heat stress or heat stroke and your dog should be seen by a vet for appropriate treatment. Other causes of vomiting include bacterial or viral infection, food intolerance, intestinal blockage, intestinal parasites, or other causes. If your dog continues vomiting tomorrow it should go to the vet for sure.
