Why does my cat have small dry bumps on her ear? How to treat?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My cat has small dry bumps on the outer part of her ear. They don't seem to be bothering her at the moment but it may just be too early to be bothersome. It doesn't be look like mites but it could be dermatitis. How wouldn't I cure this?

Hi. I would recommend getting it seen tomorrow. It appears to be a mild skin infection, but it is hard to really tell by these photos. This evening you could apply a very small amount of neosporin to the area once. Good luck.
