My rabbit's eye is red, cloudy, clogged, and shut. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 5 lbs

So my bunnys eye is red and clogged and a little cloudy. This morning it was shut. We are taking her to the vet tomorrow night. Does she have a cataract? she is 3

It is possible that Winnie has a cataract. However cataracts are not very common in rabbits. I would be more concerned about a possible corneal ulcer or dental disease. A corneal ulcer occurs from trauma or a scratch to the eye. The eye is painful so rabbits will keep the eye shut and it will make the cornea white sometimes. Dental disease can cause discharge from the eye. When the teeth over grow it can put pressure on a duct that causes eye discharge. I would recommend to go to the vet tomorrow and hopefully Winnie will be feeling better soon
