Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! There are many great medications on the market to prevent fleas and ticks. I like the oral medications that the dog just eats. Nexgard and Simparica are monthly and Bravecto in one chewable pill ever THREE months! There is also a great collar on the market that lasts for EIGHT months called Seresto.
