My dog vomited yellow foam and has maroon stool. Parasite or stomach?

This morning my dog vomitted yellow foamy liquid. Her stool is also soft and the colour is almost maroon. Is this a possible sign of parasite or stomach problem? Thanks!

Vomiting and diarrhea together is commonly referred to as gastroenteritis. There can be several causes for gastroenteritis including, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites and a foreign body/blockage, or a virus like parvovirus. If she has been sick for more than 24 hours I would recommend taking her to the vet to be evaluated. Your vet may recommend blood work and X-rays to figure out what exactly is going on. Good luck.
