My GSD is attached. Will he accept a new German Shepherd puppy?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 8 months old

He is very attached to me he never played with any other dog or puppy also but my kids wants to have 1 more puppy so will it be safe to bring another gsd puppy along with him willnhe able to manage or acceot that puppy? I am worried also what if i bring puppy and he did not cope up with that puppy so please give me an idea what should i do or i should wait for him to grow to 4 years so that he can have maturity in himself to accept another puppy

Younger dogs tend to accept puppies better but you should be sure you have the time, space and facilities to nurture and care for 2 german shepherds if they need to be kept separated until the get used to each other; a male and female are most likely to get on and you should consider getting Bruno neutered if you do not intend to breed them. You could also consider fostering a young dog to see how he copes with the new arrival
