Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Male | neutered | 3 years and 10 months old | 7.27 lbs
My cat was diagnosed with FIP and in a few days his symptoms got really bad. Now he can't walk well. He doesn't eat and I decided not to force feed him anymore. He was getting very stressed out. I understand now he doesn't have much time left, so what should I do to make him feel comfort? I gave him tramadol to minimize pain. Should I let him die at home in peace (it's very stressful for him to leave home) or should I take him to the clinic to be euthanized? Is his suffering at home too much?

Poor Lord Fluffy. FIP is such a terrible disease that cannot be cured. Of course, this has to be a decision for you but in my experience they are better off euthanized simply because they just continue to go down hill until they pass away. You know he cannot be cured therefore euthanasia will allow him to go in peace. My thoughts are with you as I know this is a terrible situation and difficult decision.
