hi, my 4 month old puppy has been experiencing flaky skin with i believe lead to hair loss, it seems to irritate him now and then. i have tried dermabens shampoo and applying coconut oil. however, it doesn't seem to be helping and seems to be getting worse. there are brown spots on his skin and hair loss by his nose kinda makes the skin get like little bleeding spots. i don't know what else to do, PLEASE HELP!

Hair loss could be a sign of parasites like fleas, ringworm, mites like Demodex, or allergies. The brown spots you describe could be a sign of a secondary skin infection as well. I would recommend taking Toughy to your veterinarian to have him examined. They can run some tests to rule out ringworm or look for mites and hopefully prescribe some medication to help him feel better.
