Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 10 days old | 1.5 lbs
Hola, l traded retirement for teaching science in the highlands of Guatemala at a Maya high school. I rescued a tiny puppy 2 weeks ago. He's pulled through, barely. There are no vets here. I have to do this on my own. How much water should he be drinking / day?

You should always offer him free access to water. 20-70ml/kg/day is the average water intake. However, the key is not how much he is drinking, but he should be urinating 4-6 times a day at this age. If he is not urinating properly, then it means he is not taking in enough water. Adding water to his food or feeding him wet food can help increase his intake to adequate levels.
