How to stop my cat from peeing outside litter box after new cat?

Hi my cat is a little over 3 years old we chose to bring in another cat into the house and that did not work out to do cat's Behavior. Since we had gotten rid of the other cat original three year old cat has started peeing in the house outside of his litter box. Is there anything else I can do to stop him. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old
