My 9-year-old dog pees a lot of clear urine. Is it too much?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 8 years and 9 months old | 22 lbs

22# poodle/dachshund nearly 9yo male. often urinates copiously (30 sec or so at a time). seems a lot. how much is too much? will spread it out during walks of length but short trip outside and often urinates clear urine for what seems long time

If he is excessively urinating clear urine then he needs to be examined by a vet to determine the cause. He could have an infection, diabetes, Cushing's disease, Addison's disease, kidney disease, liver disease, etc. Your vet can run blood-work and a urinalysis to help diagnose and treat. Evaluating his urine specific gravity will help to determine if his urine is dilute.
