My 9-year-old dog pees a lot of clear urine. Is it too much?

22# poodle/dachshund nearly 9yo male. often urinates copiously (30 sec or so at a time). seems a lot. how much is too much? will spread it out during walks of length but short trip outside and often urinates clear urine for what seems long time. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 8 years and 9 months old | 22 lbs

If he is excessively urinating clear urine then he needs to be examined by a vet to determine the cause. He could have an infection, diabetes, Cushing's disease, Addison's disease, kidney disease, liver disease, etc. Your vet can run blood-work and a urinalysis to help diagnose and treat. Evaluating his urine specific gravity will help to determine if his urine is dilute.
