My dog had a reddish bump on his stomach. Any idea what it is? It continues to get larger. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | unneutered | 20 lbs

It's hard to say for certain from the photo, but it may be a type of skin tumor. I am concerned that it appears to be a very dark red color and is hairless. Your vet may suggest a needle aspirate or biopsy to determine if the growth is cancerous or not. It may be more apparent in real life that this is something else like an insect bite or sting, or a skin infection. A veterinary physical exam is the best recommendation.
