Why does my cat still have diarrhea after vet visit and shots?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 10 months old

My cats have been suffering from diarrhea, and I went to the vet. He did the analysis of the feces and it's okay, and he gave 1 injection to each, and told me to continue with the food I started giving them 1 day ago. But then already at home, past a good time one of the kittens returned to do diarrhea, will it be normal yet?

It can take diarrhea a few days to resolve even with appropriate treatment. It's difficult to know how quickly the injections would work without knowing exactly what they are. If the diarrhea seems worse at any time or if the kittens stop eating or start vomiting I would recommend checking in with your veterinarian.
