Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years and 1 month old | 5 lbs
My cat vomits after eating, usually the food is whole. She doesn't seem to have hair balls, she does it more in summer. She is thin but she has a thick coat she sheds in summer.

Sweetie is so cute! Vomiting this often isn't normal. Since it is occurring more when she is shedding more I would be concerned that she may have some hair stuck in her stomach that she is having a hard time passing. If you haven't already I would start giving her catlax or laxatone once a day for 5-7 days then 3 times per week to see if this helps. She could also do this if there is a foreign body ( toy, string, yarn, clothing, etc) in her GI tract that is stuck if she is eating too fast, inflammatory bowel disease, GI lymphoma and many other reasons. I would see your vet for an exam. Your vet will be able to do a fecal, blood work and abdominal X-rays if need. They will be able to help you determine the cause and the best plan of action to help make her feel better. I hope this helps!

This can be a result of an allergy either to food or environmental. She may need a strict diet of a sensitive forumla or prescription forumla to help aid her digestion and decrease the allergy. If this continues she may need testing for environmental allergies or an ultrasound to look inside her intestines to make sure everything is moving normally
