Hi, a kitten this young may have problems using the litterbox. Use a softer litter and a low box that will attract him to use it. Also, confining him to a large cage where he has a bed and a litter pan will help train him to use the litter. At 22 days old he may need help being stimulated, which means rubbing him with a warm wet cloth a few times a day until he is old enough to go on his own. You can also use paper towels to soak up the urine. He should have this done about every 5 hours or so. When he is old enough, he will likely seek out the litter box. Good luck, I hope this helps!
