At her age, Lucy should be examined by a veterinarian to diagnose illness or injury. Vomiting and not drinking can quickly lead to dehydration which may complicate any underlying condition. If a veterinary visit is not possible right now, you can try withholding food for 12 hours. Allow small amounts of an unflavored electrolyte replacement beverage. No more than a couple tablespoons every hour. Resume feeding a bland diet in small frequent amounts. Wait at least one hour between meals. Begin by offering 1 tablespoon of food every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Transition slowly to the regular diet after there has been no vomiting for 24-48 hours. Lucy will definitely need an exam if the vomiting persists or if she develops lethargy, diarrhea, loss of appetite or abdominal pain.
