Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 8 months old
Im getting him fixed in a little, but I don't know a lot about the care for him, until he's healed and all, i will put pics of the 2 cages I have, should I give him bigger, or smaller? They currently get 2 1/4th cups of pellets a day, always have hay and water, should I give him more or less, or same? Should I not take him out until he's healed, or should I take him out more? Any other tips would be helpful to. Thanks

Rabbits usually heal very well after being neutered. It should take about 1-2 weeks until the incisions are completely healed. During that time he can stay in his regular enclosure. Just make sure it keep it clean and dry. If you have other rabbits I would suggest keeping them separated until the surgery site has completely healed. Also be sure you are feeding him some hay and occasional fresh veggie as well.
