My 18 lb dogs peeing almost positive its a uti but can't afford vet. Went to feed store an bought antibiotics for him adjusted for weight how long should I self treat him?

At least a week time. Keep in mind that UTI has different underlying causes and infection is not the only one. Urinary crystals/stones, idiopathic inflammation and tumors are all possible at this stage. If antibiotics are not effective in one week time (at appropriate dosages) a check up would be needed.
