How to stop puppy from peeing on couch and lap? Why is she doing it?

My 13wk old puppy is urinating on my couch and jumped in my lap today and urinated in my lap! What can I do to stop her from doing this and why is she doing this? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 26 days old | 12 lbs

In such a young puppy this is likely a behavioural issue, you need to persistent in house training as accidents are really common at this age. Be firm but try not to chastise her. You could have her urine tested to make sure she doesn't have a uti but I think this sounds behavioural not medical.
